Rocco + Emilio Story Canon Update

I know I don’t post Rocco and Emilio content here anymore since they’re not related to Splatoon in recent drawings, but new followers are finding this blog so I want to make this clear: I don’t regard Emilio and Rocco’s story here as canon anymore and I haven’t in a very long time.
Sorry I haven’t stated it sooner. Since I stopped drawing their story back in 2018 (2019?), I didn’t expect anyone to have interest in them as characters going forward, so I didn’t feel the need to make an announcement.
I’ve added a note on the original post too, but I do want to notify those who have came here from Instagram, Youtube, and/or Tiktok.

uhhh… the only thing I can think of is I used to suck water through my nose and squirt it out of my tear duct. I thought it was a very cool and impressive trick at the time, until my friends would look at me in horror when I did it

I just wanna say, I found you from your youtube, It was the Can we be like lovers short, after that I saw an old animation meme and was like wait, these splatoon characters look so familiar. THEN I REMEMBERED IT WAS YOUUUUUUUUUUUU?!?!?
I remember when I was 14-15 or so following your page and loving your art. Seeing you again felt like such a blast from the past especially since im 22 now. I'm glad to see someone who made my childhood magical still doing well!

I’ve got a round of gift art I wanted to do for a few people as xmas gifts that I wanted to get to, and as I’m currently in a spot of music block, I figure this was as good a time as any.
Kicking things off, here’s some gift art for @aoki-b , featuring her character Leandre. I’ve been a fan of her Splatoon work and her original characters for a while, and signed up to her Patreon about a year and some change ago (I believe?); in that time she’s shown herself to be absolutely lovely, a very kind and caring individual, so I wanted to give a little something back. Though I took some liberties with the outfit (mostly due to the limited colour selection I have at the moment), its based off of one he worse during a really sweet “date night” between Leandre and Yuuto, another of aokii’s characters, half cos I like that scene and half because I just think its a Cute Fit (and seasonally appropriate!)
