I know I don’t post Rocco and Emilio content here anymore since they’re not related to Splatoon in recent drawings, but new followers are finding this blog so I want to make this clear: I don’t regard Emilio and Rocco’s story here as canonanymore and I haven’t in a very long time.
Sorry I haven’t stated it sooner. Since I stopped drawing their story back in 2018 (2019?), I didn’t expect anyone to have interest in them as characters going forward, so I didn’t feel the need to make an announcement.
I’ve added a note on the original post too, but I do want to notify those who have came here from Instagram, Youtube, and/or Tiktok.

This is going to prolly be a long post about what’s going to happen to this blog, so just a TLDR; I’ll be putting a indefinite hiatus on the two main comics, and will run this blog based on asks I receive.

SO, about the Halloween comic. I did actually thumb all the pages and it was all planned out. I was so excited to post this comic!
I even inked most of the pages too
But, I couldn’t get it done by Halloween. It made me realize some reasons why it didn’t get done:
1. Organization and time management. Completely my fault–– I really don’t know how to organize drawing comics in my new lifestyle. Since I’ve moved in March, I haven’t adapted a good schedule, and have been highly disorganized. I had more flexible work schedule, and more time back in 2017-2018. I’m just now working out time for drawing convention merch and personal drawings if that tells you how bad I am at this.
2. I’m not really into Splatoon anymore. I sincerely love the game, and always will, but I’m a bit burned out I guess? If they were human OCs, I might’ve kept this going for way longer. Since they’re heavily Splatoon based (not really Rocco and Emilio), and have to be confined in an environment that someone else created, I feel creatively limited in what I can draw.
3. Most of everyone left tumblr :( Since the purge, the activity went down so much. It’s not about the clout, but the interaction from you guys. I started this blog solely on asks because I thought it was fun to share ideas about these characters, and draw them! You guys are the ones who motive me to keep this going~! Yes, I could post them on Tapas, or Webtoon, like I’ve asked about, but I lack the confidence honestly ;; I just like doing this for fun, and it feels so official on a webcomic website.
In conclusion, I’ll answer asks that I can reply in short comics. Drawing long strips of comics takes me a lot of time that I don’t feel like I have anymore. I do enjoy drawing them, so I don’t want to bench them completely! Just until I can find a good schedule to be better consistent again.

I did contact the help desk, and they got back to me. They clarified that this isn’t a shadowban, it’s a bug!
They said they’ll work on it getting fixed, so hopefully everything will return to normal soon.

Anyway, I should update Camila and Ayame’s date comic on Friday, and I will put an index up for this kids like I did for Rocco and Emilio. Their comic will also update on Sunday.

To keep it short; I haven’t gotten paid from multiple companies that I’ve given a lot of time for last month. I had to go and get a second job to get my bills paid for this month and last month… I just started this week so it’s been a little chaotic.
I’ll be updating with the regular comic this week and hopefully I’ll come back next week with more content!
Due to all of my plans and scheduling spiraling out of control, I have become a month behind on commissions and projects :(

I got something to post about Anime Matsuri but i have to push it until I get the time! ;o; I know some people are asking about it too! I’ll make sure to get to it when I can!
