the marauders all love to call James names that annoy him; Sirius calls him Jimmy or Jame (singular) Peter calls him Jameson (James has repeatedly told him that’s not his full name) and Remus calls him Séamus (he claims James needs a ‘good Irish name’)

- I will never stop pushing my Peter and Remus are besties agenda. they are nerds and share a lot of the same interests, they love comics and sci-fi movies, and they are definitely film bros, they have a weekly movie night where they watch whatever film Sirius and James think is too boring for their group movie night.
- when they were in school, they saved up and combined their weekly allowances (most of it was James’) for months and bought the huge millennium falcon lego set, they spent hours building it together and it was displayed proudly in their dorm room. When they left school they had a full blown custody battle over who got to keep it.
- they got popular in the first year of school because they were funny, loud trouble makers, by the time third year came people started realizing that it was actually kind of strange how tight knit they were, they never really talked to anyone but each other and the girls (Mary, lily and Marlene) and they started calling each other the weirdest nicknames, but because they were already considered the cool kids by the school hierarchy system, their mystery somehow only added to their social standing.
- I also love Peter and Sirius friendship (I just hate when Peter gets left out) they have the most intense chess games ever, they will be yelling over the board about techniques and openings and no one can tell if they’re mad at each other or just really passionate about chess.
- they have a large and steadily growing stack of stones, rocks and pebbles in their dorm room. No one knows what it’s for and no one wants to ask.
- they love lying and making up stories just to mess with people, someone will ask the group what they’re doing that day and they will come up with four completely different yet equally strange answers. People have just learnt not to believe their bullshit.
