when eileen goes missing on what should’ve been a run-of-the-mill hunt, the winchester-kline-novaks track her last known location to a town (literally) lost to time. hawkins, indiana is small, quiet, and perpetually stuck in 1984 following the aftermath of will byer’s mysterious disappearance and the discovery of a doorway to another dimension. with monsters roaming the woods and shadow creatures creeping throughout the night, it’s up to team free will and their new friends to save will, find eileen, and stop the mindflayer from breaking through the gate before time runs out.
