Laysara: Summit Kingdom is an extremely slept on, light management sim where you ascend great mountains, build villages and manage shipping various resources between villages and mountains.

This game oozes Himalayan Fantasy atmosphere. They really outdid themselves on the visuals, art direction and music of this game. There are very few games representative of this culture and to see one as well polished and beautiful as this one is truly a delight. Every building is distinct and filled with charming little Monks, Yaks and Villagers and is intelligently colour coded based on which of the four populations you need to run it.

While this game is not nearly as resource management-heavy as some more mainstream sims, I found it engaging enough, especially on higher difficulties. There are dozens of resources and interweaving production chains, but the main focus of the game is managing your four populations: Lowlanders (farmers), Artisans, Monks and Yaks. The Level Design and variety is fairly strong, with a decent number of maps and different maps posess different resource deposits and have unique challenges. While it is forgiving by design, you are constantly solving problems and time absolutely flies by playing this game. Just when you think, "Oh, I'll just sort out this one last production chain, then go to bed" only to get distracted and check the clock only to realize it's been three hours. I've already clocked 40 hours in only 4 days while playing other games on the side.

Absolutely Addictive, Extremely Charming, Brilliant Game.

I am extremely eager to see what updates come to this labor of love and cannot recommend it enough.
