Two new levels are ready for you and your friends to clean, as our second Content Update is OUT NOW for Goblin Cleanup!

Before we jump into the full patch notes for the update, here are the exciting main additions arriving in our New Levels Update...

In this update, we're welcoming two new levels to Goblin Cleanup, in the Forge and the Volcano! 🔨🌋

The Forge is a scorching level, where you'll need to navigate the lava. Find and restore leavers around the Forge to control the level of the lava around this new map. Controlling the lava levels brings new challenges for you and your friends, alongside the obstacle of giant hammers, which are best avoided! 👀

It's overflowing in our second lava-ly new level, the Volcano. You'll need to get up close and personal to the lava in this level, avoiding it and utilising the new Pipe feature to do so! Fire yourself into the air with the Pipes to move around this level for maximum cleaning efficiency. And it's not just the lava that you'll be getting close to, as we have a new monster. Get too close, and it will blow up! So, tell your friends to avoid them, or you'll have extra cleaning to do.

A highly requested feature we've implemented in this update is Mid-Level Saving! Now, if a player disconnects from the lobby or you're halfway through cleaning a level and have some IRL cleaning to do, you can now save your level progress and return later to continue cleaning up the dungeons!

To do this, press the new Save option in the main menu during a level. Next time you come to select a level to play, your recent level progress will be saved. Select Continue and re-enter the level with your reset percentage in tact and progress saved!

To celebrate the Festive season, we've added new cosmetic items to customise your very own Goblin maid. Select your hairstyle, hat, body, Slimop, and more to create the Goblin of your dreams!
The Jolly Elf Body & Legs, Toy Maker Body & Legs, Snow Globe Managon, Krampus' Curse Hat, and more are all new for our latest update and allow you to customise your Goblin and celebrate the festive season in style.

We're extremely excited for the game to be experienced with Japanese localisation with our latest update. This addition is right on time for you to explore our two new levels and our many other new features in the Japanese language!

We plan to continue supporting Japanese in future patches and hotfixes for Goblin Cleanup, making improvements to our game's localisation, and ensuring that the game is optimised in all the languages we are localised in!

We've made two new accessibility additions in our latest update by implementing toggle on and off options in the game's settings for both Arachnophobia Mode and Misophonia Mode.

When Arachnophobia Mode is activated, the character models of spiders are altered. This includes removing some textures from their character models, including their legs.

For Misophonia Mode, we've reduced loud sounds, which includes changes to the sound effect of the Mimic when eating meat when active.

Alongside these new levels and fresh additions, we've also been fine-tuning our co-op cleaning simulator. Our latest update brings bug fixes and optimisations to Goblin Cleanup, with more improvements and new content arriving throughout 2026!

In the upcoming days, we'll be releasing our 2026 Roadmap across our Goblin Cleanup social media channels and here on Steam. Keep your eyes peeled for our Roadmap news update, Goblins, as this will contain information regarding the rest of our Steam Early Access period and what will arrive in our future Content Updates!

• Fixed an issue where Goblins can sometimes spawn outside of the map.

• Fixed an issue where Goblin hair colour would sometimes change when equipping other cosmetics.

• Fixed an issue where mouse input would sometimes not work on menus.

• Fixed challenges that required one slime or certain slimes only, that would fail unfairly.

• Fixed an issue where the Ballista couldn't be repaired in the Library.

• Fixed an issue where the mimic would spit items through walls.

• Fixed an issue where the mimic's mouth would remain open after eating something.

• Further fixes to chairs and doorways in specific levels, making them easier to carry.

• Fixed multiple issues in the Frozen Dragon's Lair that would cause items or machines to become unresponsive.

• Fixed an issue where the cat tree wasn't visible for certain Goblins.

• Fixed the Golem hearts in the Hot Springs so that they can be interacted with properly.

• Fixed an issue with the 'Wrong Profession' achievement triggering incorrectly.

• Fixed an issue with uncleanable blood in the Frozen Dragon's Lair.

• Fixed an issue where Goblins would occasionally turn invisible after dying.

• Fixed an issue where client goblins were unable to see Spiders.

• Fixed the Inner Spring Rooms cleaning challenge not triggering correctly.

• Fixed various controller rebinding issues.

• Fixed an issue where the Slimop would become invisible.

• Performance improvements with the cosmetics menu in the main menu.

• Fixed an issue with the lever in the prison, which occasionally was not accessible or interactable.

• Fixed a camera issue, where the camera wouldn't follow your Goblin when crossing certain bridges.

• Fixed an issue with the Slimop, so you can drop items from your Slimop whilst running.

• Fixed an issue where Goblins sometimes couldn't place items in their blueprints or the blueprints weren't showing correctly.

• Fixes to tickets, to potentially fix issues where Goblins wouldn't receive tickets after clearing levels.

• Multiple other small bug fixes and typos.
