Hello, Chroma Engineers!

You purified the Realms, but the signal remains. Stage 5 is the grand Halfway point of Project Chromata. This is the invasion of The Home World.

What's New?

1. Planetary Siege Explore a massive new Hexgrid map representing a fortified capital city. Break through defensive rings, from Orbital Uplinks to Military Zones, and neutralize unique Strongholds.

2. Tactical Assault Your production is now ammunition. Choose your strategy carefully:

Overwhelm: Spend massive Dissonance for instant victory.
Subvert: A slow, low-cost corruption over time.
Infiltrate: Spend Sovereignty to bypass defenses entirely.

3. The Oversight System Every conquest presents a narrative choice: Purge, Protocol, or Defy. Your decisions affect your standing with factions, granting powerful buffs or debuffs, and ultimately determine which ending you unlock.

4. The End of the Cycle The first part of the story arc concludes here. Will you be a savior or a destroyer?

randomly lost save

I've been playing for a while, and I'm pretty far into the fractured void. Or, I was, before one day I turned my computer on and opened the game to find the tutorial waiting for me and no progress at all. I have no idea how this happened but now I don't have a save......

Visuals not updatiiing until window resize

I'm still intentionally not progressing my plot, but I am gathering 33.3 trillion light as a personal project in case it's useful later. I'm submitting this bug report in case it helps narrow down why the game doesn't seem to load sometimes. Today I noticed that if I resize my widow (specifically using the maximize button in the top right of the window), then a frame gets drawn and I can see what was going on during that resize. the verdant geode terrain needs a way to destroy them...

i thought the screaming nodes were bad, the verdant terrain spawners are worse. i have to abbandon the current match because there is no path left to the landmark...

please either make that terrain destroyable in some way or ensure there is always a path to the landmark. or make resonator shots able to spread purity to fields, that would also help. you could make it need multiple resonators to sustain max purity, i don't mind that, just make sure all maps are actually beatable. that i...

I tried double clicking on the icon on desktop or starting it from steam but it opens for a small amount of time then immediatly closes :(

the screaming nodes are way too powerful!

i am really struggling to pprogress every time i encounter a screaming node. their periodic psychic wave disables ALL power nodes on the whole map and so often and for so long that the stabilizers always run out of energy and any field they try to stabilize falls back into dissonance... i literally can not make any progress whenever i find a screaming node more than one field away from my current frontlines. and the artillery building is pretty useless against them too. there is always a reinforcing node ...

Don't bother playing this game, it's bugged as hell. I played the game once. After closing the game, it's impossible to play again. The game starts up, freezes and closes before I can do anything. Re-installing or updates don't solve the problem. It's been months and the issue hasn't been resolved.
