Hello! This is a group of players from all the great zombie apocalypse themed games like Zombie Panic! Source, Left 4 Dead 2, DayZ, and more.

Come join our own Zombie Panic! Source Classic Server at 76.26.2.122! So far we've kept it to mostly stock maps, which seems to be quite popular. Hey all,

Just wanted to give a quick update. Some people have been asking me if the server is down - no. For some reason though, it doesn't always show in the master browser. I'm not sure why. I usually connect through 'favorites' if it doesn't show up in the master browser.

Player base has gone down a bit with the release of contagion. I've been super busy with work so haven't had as much of a chance to jump on and play either.

I've been thinking about setting up a Contagion server, but would like to see some feedback to see if people are interested in that. Any ideas? Any particular game-modes you'd like to see?

Last thing - server support. I've never really asked for financial help for the server and I'd like to keep it that way. Its mostly a labor of love for the game. A few people have expressed interest in supporting it, which is great, but haven't had the cash to do so. So, I looked into some ways that people can help show support a little easier.

1 - I setup a bitcoin account on a pooling site, so if you've ever mined bitcoins before, you can put in my address and mine for the server. Its a free way of supporting the server if you're running your computer anyway. Message me for more info. If you're familiar with mining bitcoin, the pool is 'Slush's Pool' at mining.bitcoin.cz and the worker login is hooraah.worker3 / password boywonder. An easy way to get setup is to use guiminer. If you send me a message I can help out further.

2 - if you ever tried mining before and have a small amount of btc left over, thats fine too. Message me and I will send you the address.

Obviously, I don't want anyone to feel obligated to donate, and I am grateful for those that do. I'm just glad that people enjoy the server.

Welcome our new admins - Tabajara and Nemesis

I'd like to welcome two new trial admins - Tabajara 7.7 as well as Nemesis. They are both long time members of the ZPS community and we're glad to have them on board keeping the server...sane.

The server was moved and load tested over the weekend - a few growing pains at first as I realized that some background processes were hogging the CPU, but those are fixed now and things are back on track. This weekend was busy and for the most part everything worked smoothly.

I've been told that there are a few clowns out there using the name BoyWonder and going into other high ranked servers and causing trouble. I guess this means we're popular? I don't know. If you're ever concerned its me, just ping me on steam, but its probably not.

Last topic - we're almost 1 year old! This server went live October 31st, Halloween night, one year ago. Since then this project has been more successful than I originally planned, and I'm loving it. Any ideas for our one year anniversary? I'd like to do something special.

One more thing - I'd like to personally thank all of the people that have donated this month. Those acts of appreciation mean so much, and I'm happy you all are enjoying the server.
