The Village Confederation of Epirus

The Kingdom of Epirus is ruled by the Aeakides Dynasty. Epirus is a conglomerate of 3 Greek speaking tribes. These tribes were the Thesprotians, Molossians and the Chaonians. Unlike the Greek states to the south majority of our poplualtion live agricultural, mining and fishing villages. With the Pindus mountains to the east they give us protection and a large amount of tin, copper and iron to produce armour and weapons for our army. And the plains to the west give us plenty of farms to maintain our population. Eprius's population is a mix of Illyrian and Greek blood. We fight in the Makedonian style and live as civilized Hellenic people. Anyone who challanges Epirus will have to deal with rough terrain and a hardy people.
