Thorne & I are hereby retiring this RP group of Star Wars: Galaxy Rising. It made a good run for about two years, which is a surprising amount of time. I am happy to say that I've met some really awesome people in this group and I hope to keep in contact with them for a long while to go from now.


Firstly, I will be typing up a somewhat story of the old factions from the beginning and telling all their stories in a large announcement that will be coming in later this week...

Secondly, we are going to be creating a brand new Star Wars Role Playing group so everyone can have a fresh start. As of right now, it will most likely be Star Wars RP: Galaxy Asunder. If you have any ideas for a name other than Galaxy Asunder send them to me as they come to you.

While mobilizing for combat, my fleet was attacked by 2 unknown vessels. One of the ISD IIIs took minor damage but the enemy ships were destroyed before they could escape. We are currently going through the wreckage to find out who was behind this pitiful attack. All ships will remain on red alert until the attackers are identified. If a faction was behind this it will mean immediate declaration of war.

First of all I like to apologise to the Pentastar Alignment regarding the attack on their ships.

So far we've found out that the attackers are deserters wanted for piracy and obviously desertion and they are being hunted down as we speak. I just like to make clear that I have not ordered this attack, I'd like to preserve peace not start another galaxy spanning conflict.

The Empire of the Hand will gladly pay for the repairs of these ships as a sign of our goodwill. I hope the leader(s) of the alignment will accept our sincere apologies.

Due to recent events going on in the Core systems and in the outer areas, I have ordered my Flotillas and Armies to mobilize in a case of an attack from one of the other factions.
