i wasnt aware of that problem .. meself iam running latest of all stuff so i did not have that problem ..sad to hear though hope they will fix it soon

I cannot run BE atm (sadly) .. The most recent patch has (apparently -and there's lots of speculative debate at the forums about what exactly happened) raised the minimum requirements for BE to require hardware support from your GPU for DirectX11, My old GTX 260 doesn't have hardware support for DirectX11.

Hopefully a patch to fix the patch may come soon. Many many players like myself, who could play BE from it's initial release up to this recent patch, can now no longer play, and presumably Firaxis knows this and will release a fix soon.
