I honestly think that Valheim is a fantastic game and is being well worked on. The only issue is the lack of mechanics that would make the game more interesting and diverse. It takes too long to progress and progression is so simple but at some points it seems you're simply too under-geared to be able to farm the materials to upgrade. Playing Valheim begins to just feel like a walking and farming simulator and that's why I am recommending that long-term enjoyment seekers shouldn't spend the $20 to play.
