One of the best remaster's Gearbox has made. It's beatiful graphics are breathless especially coming from a 15 year old game which back then had 16-Bit pologon graphics form to make 3D models. It's audio remade into something that you would hear nowadays on most AAA games. The soundtrack is well remade and nostalgic for veterans like me and most of the other dedicated fans and players of this franchise. The story is well told and it's lore interesting and it's antagonists really likable to go up against.
There are bugs like any other game and some odd design choices which can put off some gamers. It's diffiult to control at first but you'll get the hang of it after a few plays. The A.I. is pretty smart and clever and will be a challenge for players especially in campaign. The strategies and tips used from the classics unfortunatle are obsolete in the remastered so the missions are to be unexpected as we still don't understand how the game can be played in the players favor: where in the classics there was an exploit which used right would give the player great advantage over the A.I. in the campaign. A lot of the veterans complain saying its rather dissappointing and buggy and not worked out. I beg to differ. It's a really good rts game even if its buggy at it's release and realistically speaking almost every game thats released has bugs and complications upon release but it's not so bad as other games released recently by big name companies. In due time hoipefully things will get patched up and mods worked on and created to where this game is even MORE enjoyable.

Pros
-Amazing graphics
-Great audio remake
-Aamazing OST
-Story
-A.I.
-Interesting factions to play
-Mods
-Community

Cons-
-Formations broken
-Damges done to certain crafts especially frigates bug out and become shooting dummies
-Tactics broken
-Some minor visual glitches here and there from time to time
-Crashes after hours of continous gameplay
-Pop cap(Is that really necessary to have especially since modern machines are powerful enough to hold massive fleets.)
-Multiplayer in Beta

Overall this is a wonderful masterpiece from an underrated game. Highly recommend this to anyone interested in space battles, rts's,tactics etc. or anyone starting out with rts games. For those new to the franchise or never heard of it. They also included the classic first to games to play on as well to compare and try out as well and it's also for the veterans who lost their copy(like me :( ) as getting ahold of a physical copy of this game is like a needle in a haystack nowadays so why hassle your time in finding a physical copy of the older two games when it's included in this digital bundle.

9/10

P.S.-It's a shame that Cataclysm can't be remastered(source code is missing and is unable to be found) as that was a good game as well that was part of the Homeworld franchise and that too is difficult to get ahold of a physical copy.
