They definitely righted a lot of wrongs from Borderlands 3.

The writing is WAY better than BL3. More serious, but the story was also nothing special (You can tell they were playing it safe this time around). Borderlands 2's story will never be topped. BL2 is still the goat btw

The humor is a lot less "in your face" and is used more sparingly than BL3 (Thank ♥♥♥♥)

Loot feels WAY better too, Orange gear is rare again! I ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ hated 32.9 garillion legendaries glazed and caked on my face from a single bandit in BL3. Those golden showers are gone, and you actually feel something inside when you get and orange drop, which is nice :)

I heard about performance issues before buying, but my PC is really good so no issues here, it ran smooth as butter. Did crash once though. Hopefully they address the issues that people are having though. When people pay 70 bucks for a game, they expect it to work when other games have it figured out. GEARBOX PLEASE FIX!!!!! There are new Rep kits and they are fun, Vex the Siren is super fun, Guns feel good (JACOBS WEAPONS RULE), and I was constantly having fun switching everything out and just trying ♥♥♥♥. The new "open world" map works surprisingly well (gives me Farcry 5 vibes...). There are plenty of side missions, new world events that are a nice touch, and the difficulty was PERFECT. Not ball busting or anything, but no cakewalk either. Can't wait to max my ♥♥♥♥ out.
