now this final option I find particularly interesting, because it throws all preconceived logic out the window. if leo is both buyer AND seller, in theory, there could be an unlimited amount of bean salesman. each salesman rapidly fluctuates between two states: seller and consumer.

THEREFORE
option a) returns to the pool of possible correct answers.
FINALLY
although in a competitive market, bartering is not commonplace, leo may be the exception.
the name "Leo" is latin for "lion." many of you may be familiar with the expression:
"lions love to barter, particularly when the object of commerce is beans."

THIS LEADS US TO BELIEVE
option b is also a possibility.

IN CONCLUSION
each option could be a correct answer
i hope this information helped you make the best possible decision
god bless

it cant be a, because there can't be an unlimited amount of bean salesman
it also most likely isnt b, because in a competitive market, leo shouldnt have to barter for beans

SO WE KNOW:
-leo has expendable income to use on beans
-the acquisition of said beans is through the utilization of a modern system in which one party is given leo's money and the other party (leo, in this scenario) receives beans.
-barring any sort of post-apocalyptic scenario in which beans replace gold-backed paper currency, leo is acquiring beans with the explicit intention to grind them into coffee.

HOWEVER
given the wording, we are led to believe that Leo is either:
b) the owner of an establishment that sells coffee
e) a bean hobbyist
a) a charitable bean donor
n) purchasing the beans to sell at an increased price in the interest of profit

5. Assume Leo buys coffee beans in a competitive market. It follows that
a. Leo has a limited number of sellers from which to buy coffee beans.
b. Leo will negotiate with sellers whenever he buys coffee beans.
c. Leo can influence the price of coffee beans if he buys a large quantity of them.
d. None of the above is correct.
