I want to share with you guys something that I've been struggling with for years, especially since I moved abroad and started finding success in my own carrier. Along the way I also discovered who my real friends are and who weren't really friends at all, especially the ones that talk behind my back.

Some people doubted me, some people tried to drag me down, and all of it fed into this constant feeling of not beeing good enough. It's what people call imposter syndrome.

Feeling like an impostor doesn't mean you're a fraud. It means you're growing beyond the indentity your brain is used to. That voice that tells you that you're not enough? It's not some divine signal, it's a survival mechanism. Your mind is wired to keep you in familiar territory. It thinks safety is the same as sameness. So the moment you step into something bigger, something new, your own thoughts try to drag you back into the shape you've outgrown.

But here's the truth tha people who actually move forward understand.
You don't build confidence first and act later, you act first, and the confidence catches up. You're not behind. You're not pretending.

You're in motion. And motion looks like uncertainty until it becomes identity.

And don't get distracted by the background noise. Most people aren't competitors, they're spectators. They're not chasing anything. They don't set plans because plans create accountability. They don't aim high because aiming high exposes the cost of staying small. And some of the loudest voices? They're the so called friends/haters who only felt comfortable when you doubted yourself. They smiled, they nodded, but secretly they bet on your fall. They were never your friends, they were people afraid of your growth.

When people have no life goals, they assume you don't either. When their time is worthless, they treat you like it's the same. When they've never demanded more of themselves, they can't understand why you do.

But here's where everything changes.
You stop living like you're performing for them. You stop trying to eran approval from people who have never approved themsleves. You don't owe proof to anyone except the person you're becoming. Not the version of you that's scared, not the people who quit on themselves, not the voices in your head that were built from old environments and old beliefs. Not the fake friends who wanted you small so they could feel big.

You're not here to fake it, you're here to grow in it. And growth always feels like fraud until it becomes normal.

So no, you're not an impostor. You're evidence that evolution is uncomfortable. You're the answer to the version of you that stayed silent for too long. And in the end, you don't have to prove anything to anyone except YOU.
