the launcher keeps crashing when I try to log in, nothing works

Second, I love this game, the atmosphere, the themes, and basically everything else. One thing that threw me for a loop is when Bobby M (monke) Throgmorton said that bullets and medical supplies were the currency, it felt like there would be stores that would trade with you, which I'd like to see in the sequel.

I also like how this game makes you read maps and doesn't just tell you where to go with an annoying location marker.

It's like reverse christmas where instead of coming in through the chimney to deliver gifts like santa claus in a sleigh, I come in through the front door and destroy everything on foot.

"Lazy what kind of defense is this?"

(Seriously though, add some more turrets. Hard to call it tower defense when I don't get any towers)

Serious non joke review: Incredible game, a nice mix of rogue like or lite (not sure which, I'm not a journo) that has that addicting gradual progression mixed with a lot of bullets flying. It's not too hard, but not too easy either. My jokey comment still stands, I think turrets should be available way sooner, because the heat exhaust meta gets kinda stale.

Some more visual flair could also be nice (flashier muzzle flashes and the gun moving more when you fire), but a layman like me will say that and think that's at all easy.

There's the obvious of multiplayer, but that's in the works, and I'd also like a sandbox mode where I can place as many turrets as I want.

Still, the base game is great, and it's worth your while. This unironically competes with Sanctum 2 for title of best tower defense/shooter hybrid.

I got this while I was bedridden from a medical intervention. Without noticing I played for 10 yours straight, and I was playing totally alone. Would recommend.

When I booted it up this morning, I was wondering if it could dethrone Baldur's Gate 3's current position with how hyped people seemed to be, and I got my answer. Ignoring the fact that bg3 is a strategy game and this is more of an action fighter, I don't think it's going to happen.

You see a lot of people complain about the framerate, the microtransactions, and all that, but those are things I can kind of take or leave. Microtransactions to me are only an issue when the game actively pushes you to do them, and 30fps is kind of a console standard. I grew up with a 360.

The main problem is just the price. 64,99 for a game that struggles to maintain 60 FPS and will crash below 30 when there's a gaggle of NPCs around is just a bad deal. The character creator isn't that good either, it's hard to get a feel for it on your first time and given that editing your character requires you to pay in this premium currency that's annoying to get, you're just kind of set up for a bad time.

I can see this game being good one day when they fix the problems that haunt it now though, so just add it to your wishlist and check the reviews every now and again.
