So I'm gonna start off by saying I am a vet when it comes to halo on the Xbox. I've played all the halos CE , 2 , 3 etc. And this is ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ garbage simply put this game has the worst combat mechanics I feel that it isn't impactful when you kill someone. And the map design is god awful half the time my head is spinning trying to find out where I can go and where I can't. They also seem way too easy for double/triple teaming to take place along with super easy grenade spam. The multiplayer is dreadful I was hoping that it was gonna be something. I even played on the day of release and it was still ♥♥♥♥. I took a break hoping it would improve instead it's just worse honestly. I had hopes that maybe they would be able to bring it back with the story. NOPE the story was god awful and really didn't make me feel empowered at all as 117 or impactful in the slightest when I was doing things around the ring. Now while I still think the game is ♥♥♥♥ I did like the direction of the way the story was laid out. I think open world for a halo game actually worked well but it was extremely short and there wasn't that much too do. I was expecting more bases to fight more big targets to conquer. Instead I was met with sub re-skinned enemies with nothing really that special about them. The story was boring and didn't make me emotional at all. And the ending XD really really? A cliff hanger and I won't even say what it is because it is worthless to even discuss really. 343 has destroyed this franchise and the community too be fair. It is quite sad because I really did love this game but instead I have been met with consistent failure due to a poor managed company and misdirected staff. But that is not my problem I am simply the consumer and I will never be supporting Halo after these consistent failures along with 343 in general as a company. Thank you for making my childhood into a rats nest that isn't even worth cleaning up anymore.
