Hollow Knight: Silksong is very difficult.

Pharloom proves to be more hostile, harder to navigate, and easier to die in, repeatedly, than Hallownest ever was.

This is not due to poor design, but the polar opposite! The environments, the enemies... everything, and I mean *everything* about this game is intricately designed in ways that consistently kept me on the edge of my seat. What might feel insurmountable at first, will become second nature in due time.

The attention to detail is nuts. Whenever I wondered, "what happens if I do *this?*", I was always pleasantly surprised. It's seriously scary how dense and well-realized the game is, even considering the infamously long wait.

Truly an all-timer, maybe my favorite game of all time after seeing and doing everything in it at the time of writing.

If you think you can stomach a game that won't pull any punches, that isn't afraid to kill you several times, then you'd be hard pressed to find another one this exceedingly large and tightly designed, let alone at such a price point.

Not for everybody, and kicks like a mule, but highly reccomend if you think you're up for it!!
