I’ve had occasional back issues for many years but bought this due to a persistent problem with a painful and stiff shoulder. Within a few days of using this the symptoms started to ease then finally go. I also used a warming back and took neurofen so it was a combination of remedies but I have no doubt that this product was the final push to resolve the problem. The D handle is a very good solution to accessing parts of the body which can prove difficult to reach with other solutiions.
