This game is wonderful fun, the combat is a satisfying form of hack and slash, with skill based parries, dodges and a mixture of combos that are easy to pick up for a new player, and whereas it's not a necessity to learn the more complex combos and moves, they are there for those that wish for more complexity in their game play, wishing to master the combat.

Dark Alliance also features a wide range of variation, boasting a variety in enemy roster, Duergar, Goblins, Cultists just to name a few. Some of the fights can be genuinely difficult, Whether you are battling a large number of squishy foes, or a big beefy boy in a 1 on 1.

So far I've only played Driss the Drow and Dwarf the Dwarf (I don't know his name) and they both have fulfilling-ly different play styles. ESSENTIALLY D&D: Dark Alliance is a super fun game and I've been having a lot of fun with it. It's a fair price for what you get!
