Here’s how to uninstall Counter-Strike 2 (CS2) — depending on how you installed it:

🧩 If you’re using Steam (most common way):

Open Steam.

Go to your Library.

Right-click Counter-Strike 2 → choose Manage → Uninstall.

Confirm when Steam asks if you’re sure.

That will remove the game files.

To free up more space, you can also delete leftover folders:

C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\Counter-Strike Global Offensive

(optional) any config files in
C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\userdata\<your_steam_id>\730

🧹 If you’re on Linux (Steam Proton):

Open Steam → Library → CS2 → Manage → Uninstall.

Then manually delete Proton prefix data if you want a clean wipe:
rm -rf ~/.steam/steam/steamapps/compatdata/730

🪟 If you used a non-Steam method (e.g., copied folder manually):

Just delete the folder where you extracted or installed CS2.
