While it falls off some towards the final act (just like DOS2 did for me), BG3 is one of the best games I've ever played.

Amazing characters with great writing. It wasn't until the final act that my companions actually started to seem like NPCs of a video game, rather than real people. The relationships, interactions, their reactions, etc etc makes the world of the game feel alive.

The gameplay, graphics, story, and most other parts of the game are great.

My only complaint, as mentioned before, is that some aspects of the game feel weaker in the later acts. Some mechanics (like your companion's attitude ratings) are not even a concern by the second act.

Other than those nitpicks, please buy the game.
