If this game was released 10 years ago or if it was 20€ maybe I would recommend it, but this is not a game that is up to modern AAA title standards.
It's extremly shallow which is a shame since the world of Harry Potter has a lot of depth and mystery and the potential here is massive. I actually enjoyed the main quests and those side-character quests, but sadly none of the choices you make in them matter. Exploration is fun at first but it becomes repetitive and ultimately meaningless very quickly. All the puzzles are the same, most of the loot is useless and just fills up inventory space. For some reason you'll have to go "identify" certain pieces of gear but theyre the same as all the others so I'm not sure why they even implemented that. You can capture beasts in the game but they're useless, you just keep them in your room. There's mounts but I never used them outside of the quest where I got them. Potion-making was a huge let-down as all you do is gather ingredients, click "brew" and wait. There's no space for you to get creative and it's not interactive or immersive. For some reason they added some form of lockpicking in the game for when you cast Alohomora. They obviously couldn't be bothered to design and code Quidditch and just said "♥♥♥♥ it, let's say the current headmaster is a ♥♥♥♥ and banned it". The combat is disappointing as well since you will never use the combos they show you because their idea of making it "difficult" is showering you with enemies, a third of which will be immune to almost all of your non-damaging spells.
TL;DR: A disappointingly shallow game with lazy devs. If you're huge on Harry Potter then get it once it's 20€ or less, otherwise do not recommend.
