Very persuasive and captivating take of a single player adventure where the protagonist, you "The Angler" have decided to take on the mission of holding your own out at sea, settling in the town of Greater Marrow. You must fend for yourself by scavenging what you can out of the fear inducing open waters, and face multiple challenges, learn the cursed secrets of the islands, complete with interesting character development, satisfying side quests, beautiful exploration, and unique abilities taken to a level not seen in other titles in this genre.

Not to mention - solid mechanics of movement, when for example, being met with the panic induced terrors and hazards in the night, the monsters chasing your vessel - its an engaging and fluid experience. While the story itself may be a quick one, the multiple ending dynamic of this story was short but sweet. Huge replay value as well, you can create many strategies of beating the game in different methods. No spoilers here, don't worry.

The Blackstone Key DLC is totally not PTW... or necessary to enjoy the game, although the Devs really deserve the tip, as the game is fairly priced. I found it useful for the endgame, to catch all the aberrations, simply for the achievement.

I am also happy to see that the Devs really listen to the community, and conduct updates and reported bug fixes surprisingly efficiently and swiftly. The new update is a great addition of content to the game and there is a steady roadmap for 2023 regarding its future development.

Good on Black Salt games for not giving in to public pressure and ironing out all the kinks before releasing it to the public, gotta respect devs for that in today's greedy world.
