The First half or maybe three quarters of the game are fun! Story is a little cut-and-dry, but the characters and gameplay itself aren't bad
Until you get to the late game. From my experience, playing with Riesz, Duran and Charlotte, in the late game the enemies are just sponges. They have lots of big aoe moves or just downright annoying attacks that knock you back a lot. For example, the chess piece enemies - cool design but constantly using their "ambush" move so they cant be hit, and will knock back in a (small) aoe. Fighting multiple of these, alongside annoying wizards with big aoe spells, is just down right boring.
