Tentative recommendation; Difficulty wise this game can be used as an introduction to the Character Action game genre with it's simplified mechanics, plenty wiggle room for the standards of the genre (revives are free and doesn't penalize your grade), and stylish presentation. The price tag is also pretty convincing especially compared to the other well established titles.

Just don't expect too much out of it though, the simple mechanics ends up making the fights felt way too dragged out despite the multiple weapon approach (no upgrades, just hidden areas to find your collectibles and lore), bosses felt like having way too much super armor (the game does have weapon effectiveness system but you need a consumable to find out and they are of limited duration and supply; game has no shops), and the platforming is, while not the worst, is still very frustrating to go through.
