The whole game is a giant fetch quest, as others have already mentioned in their reviews.

The bad thing about that is, that it often doesn't even make sense. For instance, in one quest, I have to grab some batteries for someone. I already have some in my inventory. But instead of directly giving that person the wanted items, I still had to do something else to - you guessed it - get the exact same items I already had.

Then, there's the amount of running around you need to do. At some points in the game, the devs decided that it's a good idea to disable fast travel completely, forcing you to use your slow boat for way too long distances.
