Definitely my favourite game. The developers are absolutely amazing, continuing to support a AAA game with more content and updates three years after release. So hyped for a sequal, and I know before that time my hours are going to have risen huge amounts more. Has tense moments of silence, electric combat (sometimes literally), a fairly simple but intuitive crafting system, a good story and hours and hours of gameplay. All round, pick it up, especially if it's on sale. It's much better with friends if possible, but I've beaten the story four times on my own so i'll say it's still good in singleplayer.
