Online used to be seriously fun, and still is sometimes, but the devs are such ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ and it has ruined the game.

Rockstar went overboard with their microtransactions, making everything that's new crazier and more expensive. This leaves you with four options: shell out hundreds of dollars on in-game currency, cheat, grind for hours on end, or miss out on a lot of stuff. When the most expensive thing in the game used to be $2,000,000, you now need $10,000,000+ to get many things. It's ridiculous.

The new things make the game less fun because they're so crazy, unrealistic, and overpowered. This is just my opinion, but it didn't really need the bat mobile and rocket cars. And because these new, overpowered things are so expensive, people are turning to cheating to spawn in money.

Rockstar couldn't give a ♥♥♥♥ if some modder was repeatedly killing players using their mods, they only care if the modder spawns money, showing that Rockstar only cares about their money and nothing about their playerbase.

Now, Rockstar is just randomly banning people, whether or not they modded. People who grinded for hours to make a couple million dollars are being banned because Rockstar thinks "They have too much money, let's ban them." It's a broken system but somehow they get away with it.

In conclusion, Rockstar is a greedy company that cares nothing about players and only about money. Steer clear of this game if you haven't bought it already, and I would recommend avoiding Red Dead Redemption 2 when that gets released.

Rockstar rivals Sean Murray and Hello Games in terms of ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ devs.
