Description
"With this mod for the games "Gothic" and "Gothic 2", I want to bring the engine of those games into a more modern state. Through an own implementation of the DirectDraw-API and using hooking and assemblercode-modifications of gothics intern engine calls, I have managed to completely replace gothics old rendering architecture with a new one, which is able to utilize more of the current GPU generations power for rendering. Since Gothic's engine in its original state tries to cull as much as possible, this takes a lot of work from the CPU, which was slowing down the game even on todays processors. While the original renderer did a really great job with the tech from 2002, GPUs have grown much faster.

And now, that they can actually use their power to render, we not only get a big performance boost on most systems, but also more features."

I get out of memory issue after saving the game 3-5 times, please tell me is there any fix to that? I did 4gb path, but I'm playing reworked mod which initiates by workshop launcher, i think patching the workshop launcer exe file does nothing as the error still occurs, any ideas?

I am geting the error "Device Removed! (DXGI_ERROR_DRIVER_INTERNAL_ERROR)"
Anybody knows what this is? Every 1 to 2 hours i get one of theese.

The problem is in zStopWorldOnSave.patch, which contains zBugFixes. This patch conflicts with new version of GD3D11, so I noticed patch dev about this problem

And again, in that combination (dx11 + texture pack, textures set to high) it works to launch game, but crashes on game save....

Apparently the crash is when Textures is set to Ultra High. If its reduced to High it doesnt crash. Whats the issue with that I wonder?

Texture mods (like artemianos texture pack) cause the games to crash when used in combination with this mod
