Dark Mysteries are dragging the Colony down into an abyss foretold eons ago by a prophecy which mortals have long since forgotten. What hero will rise up and challenge the primeval force which is now returning to Myrtana, to impose its tyrannical rule once more?

The cave was filled with an ominous gloom. The Nameless Hero drew his sword, wary of what he might encounter ahead. The feeling of cold steel in his hand gave him courage. Wobbling flames danced on the wide blade, as the hero raised his torch to light the way ahead.
A soft lament, which evoked disturbing thoughts of death, came somewhere from inside that mountain, where no mortal had set foot into, for eons.
“It’s just the wind”, the Nameless Hero said to himself. But doubts assailed him despite his best efforts to contain them. “What the hell have I gotten myself into?”
Suddenly, a ghoulish shadow leapt down in front of him. The beast pounced without a warning, but missed its target by an inch as the hero recoiled wildly. He stopped suddenly, feeling a lump form in his stomach, as the abyss took his torch and nearly took him. The beast stopped a few paces away. Turning his head quickly to assess his surroundings, he saw he was at the edge of a black chasm. Across from it, two malicious embers glowed softly. Raising his eyes from the abyss, he stared at them and found that he could not break his gaze away. Still aware of the beast’s horrifying fangs and claws near him, terror took hold in his heart. Transfixed by the distant lights, he could not turn to defend himself. The beast let out a low growl and he could feel it bare its teeth, expectantly. Slowly, it made its way towards its trapped prey, its soft steps seeming to echo in the perfect stillness of the cave.
He heard a deep, insidious voice then, but the sound seemed to be coming from inside his own head. “My Lord is waiting for you, mortal creature”.
Terrified, the beast turned and scurried away, in the shadows behind it. Swallowing in a dry throat, the Nameless Hero took what he thought to be a step away from the chasm. On the other side, the red eyes glowed more intently and seemed to be lighting the cavern now. The last thing he saw as he fell into oblivion, were heaps of human remains lining the walls of the bottomless chasm. Icy cold enfolded the Nameless Hero, as he was dragged down, into infinite nothingness.
