Description
Merry Christmas !
Here is my 3rd campaign. built from the vmfs of Black Widow Game's They Hunger: Lost Souls (06-08 build) It was a cancelled zombie game made for the Source Engine.
This was made in about a month or so, not having to build everything from scratch really help, if you're trying to learn how to use hammer.
I retain most of the original map geometry, but they are not in any particular order, and most of the prop and texture are replaced with the one from L4D2.
Like the previous campaigns, the bots can't navigate by themselves (for the most part), most event requires human player to be able to proceed.

Features:
Talker script: I've learned to make use of the talker script, though it doesnt make a real story or long conversation, mostly used around the panic event and such.
Custom melee weapon: The campaign feature a torch as a melee weapon, igniting any zombie it hit. Deal hefty FF damage.
The Bell: Each map minus the finale has a bell that will summon a horde when rung. It can be used by the infected and has a cooldown of 2 minutes.

Stats:
Difficulty rating: HARD - Increased SI count to 5 and make them more aggressive with the director script.
Average COOP playtime: 40 minutes (no restart).
Has basic support for Versus, but untested. Please report any bug you find

Map 1: The Lost

The survivors has washed up the shore of an unknown island's beach. saferoom is located inside a monastery/church building.

Map 2: The Mist

Traverse the misty cliffside over a drawbridge, featuring a scavenge leading to a panic event, saferoom is within the end of the cliffside building.

Map 3: The Damned

The survivors has now reached the inner area of the village's graveyard, bewary of Mr Hector in the morgue and proceed toward the church to meet the crazy man who may or maynot let them into the saferoom.

Map 4: The End (Holdout Finale)

Make contact with the military for rescue using communication device in the radio tower. The finale format has a few random variants, with random panicwave/tank counts.

- Adjusted water fog (more visibility underwater)

was ok until A the map themeing started to make no sense and B special infected spawned up my friends ass.

I will say decent overall but special infected spawns should toned down. It wouldn't be as big as a problem with friends however I was using bots, so that coordination wasn't quite there.

作者只需要简单的加一行Convars. SetValue("survival_max_Specials",8)就好了 但玩家考虑的可就多了

This map sucks.

Way too many special infected spawn. And this is on normal difficulty. Particularly on the 2nd chapter, when I was about to pick up a gas can that is inside the tower with a giant rock. I noticed the giant rock but the bots being bots triggered them regardless. 2 bots down. And then boomer and smoker came in. Horde spawns and a charger decided to enter. Let's just say I lost it and rage quit.

Visuals are interesting. But that's about it.

Do not play this map solo. At least, have friends play this map with you.

This map does not give any respect to the players.

Too many special infected geez like damn do not play this map on expert if you want your sanity you will get jumped!

Awesome campaing, great ambient and even on normal and 7 bots it's challenging, maybe the amount of Specials' is a bit high but that's part of the fun, got 4 tanks at the second wave in the finale and thank god i found the ammo box because that was fkd up...

11/10 i would play it again
