[macOS] Doki Doki Literature Club - Leaders

This is the macOS version of the mod, where custom audio has been replaced with the base game soundtrack for compatibility.



Localization available: English (en_US), Russian (ru_RU), and Simplified Chinese (zh_Hans_CN).

This mod adds four alternative leaders for Sid Meier's Civilization VI based on the members of Doki Doki Literature Club: Monika, Sayori, Yuri, and Natsuki. Each has her own unique leader ability and personality, all built on top of a shared "Literature Club" ruleset:

• Club Network civilization ability
  
• Clubroom unique district (replaces the Theater Square)
  
• Festival Volunteers unique Ancient anti-cavalry unit
  
• Custom Lua-driven diplomacy mood system that rewrites the dialogue leaders use when reacting to your trade offers
  
• Custom leader dialogue, names, city lists and flavor text unique to each club member

Club Network (Civilization Ability)

• After researching the Drama and Poetry civic, all Domestic Trade Routes gain:
  
  • +1 Science per specialty district in the destination city
    
  • +1 Culture per specialty district in the destination city
    
  • +1 Faith per specialty district in the destination city
    
• +50% Production toward Ancient and Classical land combat units

Clubroom (Unique District) - replaces the Theater Square and is cheaper to build.

• A cultural hub for the Literature Club, designed to sit between Campuses and Holy Sites.
  
• +1 Culture for each adjacent district
  
• Additional +1 Culture for each adjacent Campus and Holy Site
  
• Campuses adjacent to a Clubroom: +2 Science adjacency
  
• Holy Sites adjacent to a Clubroom: +2 Faith adjacency

Festival Volunteers (Unique Unit)

• Ancient era anti-cavalry unit that replaces the Spearman
  
• +5 Combat Strength vs Barbarians
  
• +7 Combat Strength when fighting in friendly territory

UA: Academic Committee

• Cities with both a Clubroom and a Campus gain:
  
  • +10% Science
    
  • +10% Production
    
• Each Great Work of Writing provides +1 Science and +1 Production to your empire
  
• Libraries gain +1 Great Work of Writing slot

UA: Happy Thoughts

• Cities gain +1 Faith for each point of Population
  
• Shrines and Temples in your cities each provide:
  
  • +1 Amenity
    
  • +1 Food

UA: Raccoon Forests

• Forest tiles provide +1 Culture
  
• Wonders gain +1 Production for each adjacent district
  
• After researching Flight, Wonders generate additional Tourism from their district adjacency
  
• Starts with a Tea Luxury Resource

UA: I Will Unleash Hell Upon Them

• Strategic resources accumulate twice as fast
  
• All strategic resources are revealed from the start of the game
  
  • (They still cannot be harvested until the required technology is researched.)
    
• After researching Military Training, unit maintenance cost is reduced by 1 Gold per turn, per unit
  
• Nuclear weapons pay no maintenance
  
• Your cities do not incur war weariness

• Fully custom leader dialogue and diplomacy text tailored to each club member's personality
  
• Unique city names, natural feature names, and other labels themed around each character
