I watched teen wolf on Netflix cause the guys in the thumbnail were cute but I'm not gonna lie I stayed for the chemistry between stiles and Derek so.. It makes me mad that fans refuse to see the queer baiting with stiles, like not even just about sterek

It’s so obvious there was queerbaiting from MTV and the Producers:

1. “LOL, we have seen the Sterek stuff. Girl, we live for Sterek.” - MTV.
   
2. “They do have undeniable chemistry.” - Jeff Davis when asked about why people ship Sterek.
   
3. I shoud clarify the Tumblr Tweet. I look at fan art We were downloading the most amazing Sterek art in the writers room the other day.” - Jeff Davis.
4. “There’s a 17th reason why Dylan Obrien is the dork of our dreams. He’s ½ of Sterek.” - MTV about Buzzfeed’s article “16 reason why Dylan O’brien is the dork of your dreams.” Retweeted by TW’s Official Twitter account.
   
5. “Well, if enough fans demand it, I can be persuaded.” - Jeff Davis about making Sterek happen.
6. “You’re not gay.” Stiles’ dad says. “I could be!” Stiles exclaims.
   
7. “Am I attractive to gay guys?” - Stiles.
8. Stiles expression when asked if he liked guys:

Then we had like 95% of the cast supporting Sterek (we know that one person who doesn’t support them)

1. “Sterek is the biggest phenomenom.” - Colton Haynes.

And most important, the two actors, Hoechlin and Dylan, were completely okay with the idea:

But even if they (producers) were never going to go that way, they kept bringing up these scenes for them without explanation of what they meant, making it seem like something was going to happen just because they knew most of the views relied on the Sterek fans:

1. “I don’t know Derek, I think you two (Derek and Stiles) make a pretty good pair” - Matt Daehler 2.10.
   
2. Not knowing how Stiles spent his summer before Junior year, getting Sterek scenes with Stiles winking at Derek and not looking surprised when Derek shares with Scott what he did in the summer (as if he already knew or even spent the summer with Derek). Then Sterek fans start talking about a possible summer fling between them (a very popular theory), and Jeff Davis, when asked about Stiles’ summer, simply answers that “we already have a theory” making it seem like we were right.
3. Stiles running to comfort Derek after Boyd dies (when they supposedly still can’t get along) not even Derek’s love interest or Derek’s pack ran towards him to help him. We see Stiles helping Derek deal with his pain (remember at the start of the episode 3.07, Scott tells a woman that human contact helps wth pain)
4. Derek believing in Stiles’ words over the ones from his love interest who had a love spell casted on him (Confirmed by Haley Webb, the actress playing Jennifer).
5. Stiles, once again, is able to bring Derek back, his presence enough for Derek to break through whatever powerful spell Jennifer had on him (POWERFUL DARK MAGIC) 
6. Stiles multiple times admitting that Cora, Derek’s sister, was JUST LIKE her brother, and then both of them starting to get a romantic storyline that we didn’t get to see thanks to Adelaide Kane leaving the show for TV Show Reign.
7. Derek being the only one to ALREADY know Stiles’ scent, what he’s feeling and where he has been.
8. Derek being the King in Stiles’ chessboard (the King is the most important piece in the game) and when we thought the Nogitsune had gave him that position, it’s confirmed that Stiles was the one who made him King.
9. Derek searching for Stiles for 2 days straight, worrying about his safety when Chris points a gun at Stiles, and anxious about the fact Chris might kill Stiles.
10. Derek going to Stiles when he was feeling scared of a nightmare he had because he didn’t remember waking up, then realizying it wasn’t really a nightmare and that his subconcious had went to Stiles for help when he was about to die, confirming Derek’s anchor (the one thing that keeps in in control) was Stiles. Also that scene was based on a movie where a man goes to his wife in a dream to say goodbye before dying. TOTALLY PLATONIC, RIGHT?
11. Stiles, once again (just like with the pilot), being the only one to recognize Derek.
12. Stiles “I’m not going anywhere” when told to leave Derek in the Vet Clinic.
13. Stiles feeling scared when he sees Derek is the password on the Deadpool list.
14. Stiles hesitating to save Scott, his brother, just because he didn’t want to leave Derek to die.
15. “I give people the benefit of the doubt. I’ve given a lot of benefit to a lot of people.” Stiles says and Scott answers with “Like Derek?” which make Stiles stop what he’s doing, before continuing with an annoyed expression. (being angry that Derek left) 
    
16. Stiles being the one who finds Derek’s initials and smiling at them:

BUT OF COURSE, THE REASON THAT MAKE MOST FANS IGNORE THE FACT STEREK BROUGHT ATTENTION TO THE SHOW, AND HATE STEREK AND THEIR FANS IS MAINLY BECAUSE OF THIS:

“… it’s watching for the wrong reasons.” - Tyler Posey about Sterek, after interrupting a question asked to Tyler Hoechlin.

Which marked a HUGE change in the fandom, because he basically said queer ships and queer fans were “bizarre, weird and twisted”, and then hate was everywhere towards Sterek fans and Tyler Posey, most fans left the fandom, other stopped watching the show, especially when Hoechlin left at the end of S4, a.k.a why Sterek fans are hated and why TW has horrible ratings now.
