How many languages do you know?
i’ve learned a bit of some but i’m only fluent in spanish (my native lang) and english 🥲
-italian i can converse with my italian family members or read a book/watch a movie no problem, but i botch verb conjugations and the like when i speak
-i learned some french at uni and with a friend, i can manage to speak but it’s hard for me to understand others speaking, though i can read.
-studied some japanese on my own as a teen because i liked manga and anime. it’s extremely rusty but i have a good memory so i still remember a lot of random vocabulary, kanji and grammar patterns.
-chinese i am actively studying now. i took some actual courses before the pandemic and this year i went back to it. my goal is to actually become fluent in it because it’s the one i’ve liked the most.
i’m nowhere near it though. my pronunciation is good but i’m still in a “the pencil is on the table” realm ૮ ◞ ﻌ ◟ ა
