Summary:

Hector took an oath to protect the world; he couldn’t allow anyone the chance to take the Moonstone for themselves. Rapunzel had a destiny to fulfill and a kingdom to save; she couldn’t sit back and do nothing, like her father. When both of them ultimately fail, the Moonstone is free to make its will known for the first time in millenia.

Forced to carry the power he fears and loathes above all else, Hector is desperate for redemption - desperate enough to give Adira’s treasonous plan a try. Rapunzel’s worldview begins to crumble as she learns to discern her own flawed humanity from the magical essence she was fused with before her birth.

Summary:

During his brief stint in the afterlife, Prowl is reunited with his beloved Cyberninja master. Instead of welcoming him into the Well of Allspark, Yoketron declares that Primus’s plans for him in the mortal realm are not yet finished. He also delivers a shocking revelation about Prowl’s long-lost family.

After their victorious return to Cybertron, Prowl finally reveals his true origins to Team Prime. Although he passes for a “pure-blooded” Autobot, he’s actually half Beastformer. His mother, Blackout, was once the leader of the Predacon faction - and an ally to Megatron during the Great War. His father’s identity was a closely guarded secret, just like his parents’ relationship. And according to Master Yoketron, his mother’s death at the hands of Megatron wasn’t what it seemed.

With the Decepticons soundly defeated, and no wars brewing on the horizon, Optimus decides now is an excellent time to probe the mysteries of Prowl’s past. (And he’d much prefer a new adventure with his team over running against Sentinel for the position of Magnus.) But reassembling Prowl’s family soon becomes a harrowing journey of discovering his own bloodline’s dirtiest secrets. And Optimus’s core beliefs about doing the right thing are suddenly at war with his deep-rooted loyalty to Sentinel Prime and Ultra Magnus.

The deeper Team Prime digs into Cybertron’s past, the harder it is to be content with the present. When the unseen battle for their future blossoms into physical violence and insidious propoganda, Optimus Prime must make the hardest choice of his entire life cycle.
