Dogs need to be walked. Like. Unless you have over an acre of safe, fenced in yard, you should be walking your dog at least once a day, preferably twice. If you don’t want to spend 30-60 minutes outside every day, you probably want a cat.

Your cat should never go outside unless you have an enclosed cat patio or have leash trained your cat. If you want your cat to run free and unsupervised in the backyard, you wanted a dog.
