I was just now popping off in my group chat about how each picture shows the dynamic and growth of each division so well. For BAT I had:
THEY’RE SO SILLY!!! Like honestly this is the goofiest picture to me, which makes it so cute!! Kuko is seated, but he’s also leaning forward to make room for Hitoya and Jyushi behind him, and if anything they are probably using him to keep balance, which is a great metaphor for the role Kuko plays in their lives and their growth. Likewise I think Jyushi and Hitoya more or less making the same pose shows how they are both so similar (which has been shown a bunch of times in the manga) but Hitoya is being more open about it now. Hitoya being openly silly with them instead of traying to act like he’s more mature and above them when he’s not.

This is one of those songs that is more vibes and innuendo than meaning, so I can totally see how it would be difficult to translate. I won’t do anything too fancy, but I’ll simplify it a bit so it’s easier to understand. The footnotes are related to the song’s liberal English use haha.
so firstly, on my part at least, this is a theory predicated on the assumption that kuukou and jyushi’s speakers have their pink accents bc of an important woman figure in their lives, since pink atp is pretty synonymous with some lady damage lol. jyushi’s is obviously his grandma, but what about kuukou??
A RamuKu date night! They’re not exactly each other’s type, but they’re pretty happy nonetheless!
This start off as a conversation with my partner where they shared this post from twitter and translated it, where Kuko mentions Ramuda is light and is worried if he’s eating enough, making me joke that Ramuda is gonna trigger Kuko’s feederism tendencies. And then joke even more that Kuko would prefer Ramuda being fat and hairy. Likewise, Ramuda being into the nee-san types.
This was a rough practice doodle, wanted to try out how it look if I didn’t erase the pencil under sketch and just colored on top of it.
