Not sure! But she has to be older than Reef Wars (which was concurrent with Twilight Gap and Twilight Gap can be set at about 100-150 years before the present day, roughly).
Sjur Eido disappeared during the Reef Wars so his daughter must be older than that because she was found by Mithrax while he served with Sjur. How far before the Reef Wars? No idea.

So you know how Amanda and Caiatl share the same VA? And that VA also happened to voice Sjur Eido’s statue in the Shattered Throne? And since we got new Amanda voice lines these past couple of seasons plus Caiatl it means they have that VA available who like I said voiced Sjur so there is literally nothing stopping them from giving us Sjur and if we don’t get her by the end of this season I will riot :(
This post is now a post of manifesting the return of Sjur Eido.
Reblog if you want Sjur Eidot to return, make her grand entrance, so we may see the gigantic wlw ethereal Awoken archer.
Why is there the distinction in the human-version of the name being "Mithrax" and the Eliksni being "Misraaks"?
Is it to showcase that humans are sometimes rude and don't put in the effort to get as close to correct pronunciation of names as possible?
Or is it the closest the series can get to conveying "humans and Eliksni each have certain vocalizations the other is physically incapable of reproducing and as such, inevitably, some things get changed"?
When Mithrax was found by Sjur Eido and he introduced himself, Sjur didn’t manage to catch the pronunciation properly and called him Mithrax. He accepted. In turn, he named her Siyuriks and the Eliksni call her Siyuriks.
It was an accident basically, they met in the field and Mithrax didn’t trust her until she spoke in eliksni and when he said “Misraaks” she heard it as “Mithrax.” He seems to be okay with it tho!

fun little game!
You may have one (1) lore character be fleshed out, on screen, and even the star of a season.
BUT! a current major character that you like has to be absent (in both onscreen & in lore/dialogue) for an entire year
Which blorbos do you switch around?
Sjur Eido as star of the season, anyone except Mara absent (because I want Sjur and Mara to interact on screen).
I’m not too picky about this, I would trade any blorbo taking a step back (even Drifter or Osiris) if we could finally get Sjur to return and Mara to be there.
I’d like to see what others would pick, feel free to share!

are we finally going to see sjur eido given next season is season of the wish?
I highly doubt it. Definitely don’t get your hopes us.
The next season is the last one before TFS so the story really has to focus on finally learning how to get through the portal. Given what we know, this will involve Ahamkara and whatever shenanigans that entails.
Sjur is a completely different story, and it involves the Nine, which would make the seasonal story way too overcrowded. It would also have to include whatever Ahamkara we’ll deal with as a new character + Sjur as a new character which is too much new stuff to focus on.
I think Sjur’s return, if planned at all, is probably going to be dealt with at some point when we deal more with the Nine. The Nine are a huge unexplored area of the setting that could fill a niche post-TFS.
Of course, anything could happen still, but this is just the most realistic scenario. If anything, I would love to see Sjur mentioned in lore! We got a really small mention of her in Defiance, I would love for something extra. I am also hoping for Mara to be involved a lot more AND for them to fix the mistake from Lost and include Eris this time. I know Eris featured here in Witch as a main character, but I really want Mara and Eris to be on screen together and interact which they should’ve done in Lost, but there were too many characters to include.
I didn’t even talk about Drifter and Zavala radio.
This has to be foreshadowing for a season about the Nine. There’s no way they’d be mentioning this, for the second time this season, especially as a radio message that’s part of the main quest. They’re reminding us about the Nine and Orin. Link to full radio message which is really, really good. Excellent chat between Drifter and Zavala.
I believe. And if we’re getting the Nine, then there is hope. For Sjur Eido. I’m 100% jumping to conclusions, but I am allowed once. In all seriousness, a season focusing on the Nine is fairly possible. Could feature several loose ends to wrap up a little before TFS.
I'm gonna snap. Paradrome cube. Artifact from Splicer.
—a shape frozen inside a crystal prison a towering figure in white recognition flooding bloodshot eyes a city of voices speaking at once shadow taking form the realization they had always been watched tears on metal—
I'm SNAPPING. Shape frozen in crystal prison.... Literally telling us about Sav's crystal... Back in Splicer... I am gonna. Besties.
Someone else do the rest, I can't.
