Listen, listen, this DLC. THIS DLC. We got a Spanish speaking brown boy that loves languages. Our first Spanish speaker in the series?!
As for the story? Do you like stories about immigration, and the struggles of navigating and negotiating when and where identities start, stop and blend? Do you like a cute af dance? This the DLC for you.
It’s SO good!
Also Eva Levante is another Spanish speaker! So Lodi is technically not the first, but he’s definitely the first who actually spoke it out loud I believe (one of the sidequests had him say a phrase! His VA is fluent in Spanish). I love his family and his diverse background and his love for languages.
Also in the raid skybox, you can actually see all the planets of the solar system, since they represent the Nine. I was confused at first because the biggest object is:
Obviously this is the Moon? But my first thought was that it’s Kepler since I didn’t look at it too much, but I was kinda confused because of the craters which are very much the Moon. This is obviously here as a tie to Earth. Then I turned around to look at other stuff and saw:
Jupiter! And Jupiter is very distinct, it can’t be anything else so I lost my mind and then realised that all of the other planets have to be somewhere in the sky too. And they are.
Not sure which one of these is Neptune and which is Uranus, I think the first one might be Neptune because of a bigger moon nearby (Triton).
Saturn and Mars were a little tougher to find because depending on where you are in the space, they are behind structures or lower to the horizon, but! Here they are.
And! :D Sun, Mercury and Venus. Except Mercury is a black hole. I am going to be on the news.
Compilation of IX sounding horny (because Lodi)
