Oh, I don’t think he was outright against it! But not super approving either. It’s mentioned in the “Atelic” lore entry, where Tevis’ consciousness was revealed to be stuck in the Black Garden after his physical death. This part in particular:
Without it, I wouldn’t be stuck in the Black Garden making bets with myself on which Goblin’s going to be the next to slip on a soggy leaf and fall off a cliff, either. You took my Light already; you’d better take my advice.
It’s not anything direct, but taking into account the whole mood of his speech and what kind of person Tevis is in general, I think it’s safe to say he felt a little salty about it at least 😅 Sounds like “well since you stole my bow, you owe me one now, so you better listen” to me. That’s an personal impression, ofc.
