Binaural Space What a fantastic album! I’ve admired Allister’s compositions – ambient, folk-rock, psychedelic, you name it – his singing, guitar playing, writing, and arrangements, for years, as well as his covers, and let me tell you:

This might be my fav album of his so far. Dope, atmospheric, unforgettable. I’ll be playing it on loop for weeks to come I expect. Even the cover is the bestest ever, love it.

Congrats on such an accomplishment, my friend, and hats off for the super-impressive output lately! Favorite track: Mr. Fuzzy Face.

It’s the year 2050 Nothing’s left of our city Ashes, ruins and pestilence A horizon ruled by silence I cook my rats over the fire Rags are my fine attire Under stars no light pollution For us there’s no absolution Gotta tell you it’s not so bad We were nature’s passing fad Can’t recall who I saw last But we both ran away real fast No one wants to see another No wants to remember The bad old world that went so wrong And now that world is all gone Before it all concluded I was so sad and deluded In a cubicle each day In my life, I had no say To hell with this dead city The end was so fitting Drowning in the shit we made And now so slowly it all fades So completely alone Apocalypse Man Last one on Earth Apocalypse Man

Takeoff countdown Blastoff, let’s blow this town Another planet That’s where they’ve gone Time to follow Head away from our sun Out into the black And we’re never coming back Planet Earth, now it’s in our past Leave at all behind, in a nuclear blast We had to grow transcend our roots Transhuman, send out new shoots Out into the black And we’re never, ever coming back

Here’s to the human race and its sad condition Always fixated on its ego’s obsessions While the other life on Earth just keeps on keeping on Each person is an island living all alone Each person is an island living all alone Searching for meaning but obsessed with mundane life Our ego causing hatred, war and love and strife While the universe just gets on with being all in one There’s nothing to lose and nothing to be won There’s nothing to lose and nothing to be won Cast off your dirty raiment and stand forth as you are Just another skin bag made of scattered stars And if you think there’s somewhere else, you won’t get very far Always longing for beauty but from afar Always longing for the truth but from afar
