It would explain how she knows buildings so well and the security involved and it adds a few more layers to her character. the very first thought i had when i read this was injustice catwoman, which is one of my absolute favorite outfit designs for her that adds an enormous amount of personality to her suit that’s never there in the bland latex cat suits and pure acrobatics she usually gets:
and i think it would be a very, very good addition to her character to have a career like that and building her cat burglary get-up off of the skills she has through that, designing her own suit with functional equipment to help her get around, re-purposing things she already uses and knows how to handle well along with what might be her hobbies which probably include a lot of gymnastics and fighting skills to add onto that.
it would also give her a reason to know a lot of the same knowledge as other tech savvy rogues along WITH her excellent banter and people management skills (at least, that’s how i see her), which would put her pretty high up on the threatening powerhouse rogue list if she wanted to be up there. i would love a catwoman like this as part of the sirens!
