every time I think about Dilbert I think about this comic and how the question being asked is Not Stupid and its answer is genuinely interesting and arguably very important information anyone using a computer should know
it turns out i really enjoy making educational posts about the comics making process and ways of thinking. here’s another one featuring characters from my graphic novel in a very anachronistic art museum.
the dynamic between two people who love a third person so much and come to understand each other because of that is so important to me. you would put them first, and so would i. you understand why we have to save them from themself. i trust you with their life, and so, that means more than if i trusted you with mine. the love doesn’t have to be the same, but it’s powerful enough that you understand why you’re not the only satellite drawn into their orbit.
of course i am abmormal about possession and characters being controlled or influenced in a literal sense
But never forget i’m ALSO abnormal about everything else that involves identity/separated aspects of the self/personas/facades/retreating into or dropping facades whether intentional or accidental .
And also interference with autonomy/agency/volition/will/memory .
They’re all friends . They’re all holding hands and frolicking in a field and I’m giggling and kicking my feet about all of them.
