You know how when a remake or reinterpretation or whatever feels like how you remember the original feeling when you were a kid? That’s Grandaddy’s 20th anniversary rerelease of The Sophtware Slump — The Sophtware Slump on a Wooden Piano — for me. I listened to the original so many times in my early 20s, and this has all the heart and soul of that album, but it’s grown up into near middle age alongside me.
I’m not gonna lie, membership does often have it’s privileges. I’m smoking some re-release Stonehenge in this little Tom Eltang Billiard, french-pressed Blue Bottle Sumatra Takengon Mahara on the side.
