JOB SUMMARY

TOKYO GLOBAL GATEWAY (TGG) welcomes applications for the position of a part-time English support staff, AGENT.
At TGG, AGENTs guide small groups of learners through interactive, engaging, and experience-based English learning activities.
These activities may include, but are not limited to, performing a new dance, designing a marketing campaign, programming a robot, or participating in various role-play scenarios.
AGENTs are expected to bring excitement and joy to learners through positivity, high energy, and thoughtful support that builds interest in English and the world around them.
TGG is a truly global community, and AGENTs must work with a diverse team of staff to ensure effective collaboration and communication, in order to provide the best experience for both learners and staff.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Ensure the safety and appropriate care of learners at TGG.
  • Maintain an English-only environment.
  • Engage and guide learners through various experience-based programs.
  • Participate in role-play scenarios with learners to provide real-life applications of English.
  • Be punctual and arrive on time for all shifts, meetings, programs, and other scheduled activities.
  • Contribute to a positive and professional work environment.

REQUIREMENTS

  • Must be fluent in English
  • Must have a valid work visa (sponsorship is not provided)
  • Must be flexible, positive, patient and excited to work with young learners
  • Must be available to work various shifts between our main business hours of 8:35 to 17:30 on weekdays (high demand for 9:45-15:00)

ADDITIONAL DETAILS

  • Age of Learners: Elementary school to university (occasionally includes adult learners)
  • Working Hours: Weekday shifts ranging from 1.5 to 8 hours
  • Salary: 1,800 JPY per hour

Working Locations: Odaiba and Tachikawa

Odaiba:
Nearest train stations are Telecom Center Station (Yurikamome Line) and Tokyo Teleport Station (Rinkai Line).
* free shuttle to TIME24 Building on Weekdays from Tokyo Teleport Station

Tachikawa:
Nearest train station is Tachikawa Station (JR Chuo Line).
