Short for “In Balance of Dreams.” The title of my fancomic for the movie Epic (2013) by BlueSky Studios (rip)

800 years following the events of Epic (2013), disease and overgrowth are widespread throughout the kingdom and to continue the life of the forest, a prince is selected rather than a queen. Unsure of the reason why he was chosen, Janus the prince and his royal guard Callum are tasked with solving the imbalance of the tiny world they inhabit as they discover more about his powers.

A complete original story taking place within the Epic universe.

We have the protagonist Janus, the deuteragonist Callum, and Clark the Mushroom (concepts here). There’s plenty more in this epic universe.

Movie characters will be referenced! Their inclusions would be more like allusions with the exception of two characters (that’s for later in the story ;3)

Whenevers! I’m aiming for monthly issue releases (as typical of serial works) on the 21st of each month. I pour a lot of love into these pages, so I like taking my time with them. This is my first long-running comic, so I’m not sure on when I’m finishing the entire thing. I estimate roughly 60 issues for the whole story. These issues may turn into fragmented releases at some point for personal health reasons. It might be a long commitment tbh (sorry)

I only ask for everyone’s patience when it comes to reading. This is a very passion based project, it’s something I work on if I decide to on my own. Let’s all just have fun with it!!!

I SO RELATE TO THE DIFFICULTY OF FINDING EPIC CONTENT. I’m more than happy to contribute to the Epic fandom. I can’t wait to share my three year brainstorm with everyone. No more on the outside looking in!!! Thank you for taking the time to look at my stuff :,D

Hello everypony !

In two weeks, I’ll be releasing the first issue of a fancomic for the movie Epic (2013) -does anyone remember that????- and it’s titled “In Balance of Dreams.” It’s set 800 years after the movie’s plot, where the pod picks a male heir instead of queen. Anyways here’s some concept art in the meantime. Looking forward to posting more!!!
