I booked an AnyVan to pick up an order from a furniture store specifically putting in the opening times for the store for them to collect the order. On the day of the order I was called and said they were unable to collect because they went outside operating hours. I was then told I had to pay 50% extra to rebook even though I had included when the store would be open. The customer service said I should have booked a specific time but this was not an option for me when I completed the booking. So was scammed for further money for no reason. Very disappointing.

It wasn’t a great experience

It wasn’t a great experience. I live in a tower block and appreciate that isn’t the easiest place to deliver but there is a lift and parking near by. The delivery people were going to leave my sofa outside the building for some reason. When they did get the sofa to the top floor, sofa cushions were thrown on main communal hallway and I ended up helping man carry it into the flat as other delivery man had disappeared. Would not use again.

1st Class Service

What an amazing company

What an amazing company. Great service, really polite drivers and everything was organised so quickly and efficiently. The communication from the company also deserves a mention. Really happy with the service provided and will be using them again in the future.

I hated this whole experience

I hated this whole experience, and CAN NOT RECOMMENDED. This is not a door to door moving service, read the small print and do not believe the people on the end of the phone that you book with.
This company runs a very slick booking platform, but outsource the jobs so they or you have no real control once you book. You are basically taking pot luck with who you get and where you are on the drivers agenda! I think the reason for the good or very bad reviews.
Chat bots. Frustration. No logical reason for £40 price increase to REDUCE items. My time slot was booked for 10-2pm. Van arrived 4pm, no explanation, just told he will be there when he can. Van driver not contactable. Then delivery to receiving address almost 10pm for a journey that takes 40mins. We were stressed and upset by this move, my son refused to put his personal belongings in the van as he was terrified they would not arrive. The refund we were promised for the missed time slot has not arrived either.
Just a very very upsetting 12 hours to move less than 1m3 40mins across town.

Arrived on time

Arrived on time. Worked in challenging situation..weather was awful. Accommodating of last minute changes too. Would use again. This is a no frills, does what it says on the tin, kind of service but value for money.

Very poor experience


Very poor experience
Driver of grey VW Amarok pickup with trailer refused to transport a 740kg Smart car because the engine wouldn’t start due to a flat battery, the people at the collection were willing to load the car for him and I would of unloaded it my end but he just drove off! This cost me an additional £131 to have a different driver collect the car the following day so total cost was £334 to transport the car 100 miles. Anyvan were only interested in making more money out of it, they paid the new driver £180 and took £154 of the £334 paid!! I will never use them again and would leave a negative score if I could. There is also a query about whether the first driver that aborted the job is operating legally in which case Anyvan shouldn’t charge for that part anyway. It has now come to light that the driver was operating illegally so how can I be charged???!!!
