My favourite shop in the whole wide world!

For the past 24 years I have had the benefit of purchasing the most rewarding bargains from this very place.
It is a family owned and run business.
Roger and his team always give sound advice!
They really know what they are talking about!
All are also musicians themselves, touring, performing etc.
In my humble 48 years experience of purchasing musical instruments, this team adheres the most of all shops known to me, to the "Bauhaus principle" of splicing expert craftsmanship and artistry together like the two strands of DNA.
The personal, customer-centred care is indeed outstanding, the bargains offered stunning as well as surprising.
Their secret however is the vast knowledge, experience and insight into products, you would not find on an extensive google search. Nor even think of.
Priceless! The expertise which is outside of reach for us.
Understanding, grasping and realizing this, it feels like a miracle that this shop actually still exists in 2026!
This is the "local shop"most deserving of your and my support.
Michelin would give it three stars (if it was a restaurant)!
Remembering: One star is given for exceptional care and service. Two stars are given for care and service so outstanding, that when you are in the vicinity of say 100 miles - living in or visiting the area, popping round is a must.
Three stars are given to the handful of places where the customer care and service is of such a level, that regardless where you live on the planet, this place alone deserves it for you to arrange to travel there.

When an order was seemingly lost by the delivery company, B&T very quickly sent a replacement with no issues. Very good customer service.

Absolutely amazing people.
Ordered on Saturday night. Parcel left on Monday morning and in my house 9.07 am next morning from Hastings to Richmond North Yorkshire. Also good service from FedEx.

Excellent service and stuff

I am almost embarrassed to write this review, but the team at B&T Music absolutely deserves it. I recently purchased a beautiful Bromo BAT4CE acoustic guitar from them, but within a few days, I found the same model for slightly less online. I called B&T, feeling terrible, and they were so understanding and processed a full refund without a single hint of annoyance.

Then, the unthinkable happened! I found an even cheaper one at another retailer. Swallowing my pride, I called B&T again to ask if I could, once more, return the guitar I had just re-purchased from them during a moment of doubt. The person on the phone, I believe his name was Roger, was incredibly helpful and responsive. He assured me it was "no problem at all" and that they just want their customers to be happy.

Their patience and professionalism are unmatched. Most shops would have blacklisted me, but B&T treated me with nothing but kindness. I will be back to buy all my future gear from them, and I'll happily pay a little more to support a local business with this much heart. Thank you, B&T

2 weeks in and no update on delivery.

Delivery of pickups was delayed. Phoned B & T directly and was told would be phoned back with an update. This was not the case and I had to phone again myself after 2 weeks. This time I was phoned back as promised and pickups arrived from supplier the next day. Polite, sincere staff, genuinely apologetic. Would use this shop again.

Good price and delivered very quickly very very well packaged

Excellent website, easy to order and ready for collection when I needed it.

Quick response to my initial (online) enquiry, and then quick dispatch once I'd placed order. Price was very competitive too.

I rang the store to ask about a product on their web shop. Although they didn’t have the information, they called EMG and promptly called me back allowing me to make an informed purchase
